the FreeFlyte Cycling line is an evolution to our GoFierce Pro Edition Cycling Jersey with notable fabric, pattern, and fit dynamics.
When creating FreeFlyte we wanted to apply the trends of ever longer sleeve lengths in premium cycling jerseys along with fabric upgrades to create a lighter and much more breathable/wicking cycling jersey for Phoenix summers. The foundation is our Italian milled Speedslice fabric – a lightweight, hyper breathable fabric with an almost silk-feel. SpeedSlice has fantastic cooling properties especially once the going gets tough. We pair this with our Featherlight fabric on the side panels and sleeves – key fit areas. The Featherlight sleeve is designed to fit below the bicep – allowing for a snug and form fitting sleeve that especially when wet looks “painted on” – 10 points for pro appeal. Featherlight is also used on our large neck yoke – providing a snug jersey fit when in the drops and also another key moisture wicking panel. Momentum is used on the rear pocket for its 2 way stretch featuring allowing for the pocket to stretch to fit your gear but NOT sag.
When creating FreeFlyte Bibs we wanted to improve on the GoFierce cycling bibs in both fit and heat management. We did this by utilizing Shield Endure as the base with Eagle Eye on the side panels and bib uppers. Eagle Eye provides a noticeable level of breathability and moisture wicking management to the product which is especially important on hot races. The TMF cycling pad utilizes cutting edge pad design and construction technology. We tested over a dozen pads from the key pad manufacturers around Europe and the America’s and have been well pleased with TMF. Their attention to detail and pad pressure points allows for a pad that feels distinctly less bulky/diaper than other pads while achieving fantastic long ride comfort. This is because the pad has a soft antimicrobial top layer, fully perforated foam layers with skyving technology and theromolded density zones with a tactile sit bone layer that adds extra adhesion to the fabric which prevents fabric/pad float when pedalling hard on the bike. Hands down, this is our favorite pad yet.
